cOMMUNITY AND EVENTS MANAGER / £30K / FULL TIME/PERMANENT /WOLVERHAMPTON /DEADLINE TO APPLY 13 september 2019

This charity has ambitious plans to support their community and so the fundraising team they plan to strengthen is going to be innovative, creative and driven. And certainly successful - want to join them?

We’re looking for an experienced fundraiser who loves to plan and organise community activity and events. Key activities include:

  • With the support of the Head of Fundraising, research and develop new income generation opportunities and lead on implementation of community fundraising campaigns and the creation of a comprehensive, cost-effective and competitive events programme for all supporters and audiences.

  • Ensure Community and Events Fundraising are the gateways to multiple income streams through effective cross selling of other fundraising initiatives.

  • Develop, implement and monitor clear supporter journeys and ensure all income generation projects are coordinated in a cohesive manner in line with this objective.

  • Manage income and expenditure budgets.

  • Ensure all supporters who participate in fundraising events or community campaigns receive the best possible experience and are managed appropriately.

  • Ensure the quantitative and qualitative development of the fundraising volunteer workforce through effective recruitment, development and management practices.

  • Line manage a small team

APPEAL manager / £40k / 18 MONTH CONTRACT / HOME-BASED WITH REGULAR TRAVEL TO WALSALL /deadline to apply 9 September 2019

We’re looking for a fundraiser who is experienced in community, events and corporate fundraising team management who can hit the ground running, working full time and based within the Black Country.

  • Manage the Appeal’s fundraising team

  • Create the best possible supporter experience for the donors, volunteers and partners

  • Maximise the charity’s reputation with the local community

  • Communicate consistently and effectively, both internally and externally

  • Enjoy a close and mutually supportive relationship with the local hospice team

  • Play a part in making the charity a fantastic place to work and volunteer for current and future colleagues
