Observations and ramblings. And likely the odd rant.

Time to celebrate.

Had a lovely Friday/end to the week: we were supporting a charity who had used a job board to employ a fundraiser. They’d had zero luck with this so came to us after meeting at the Institute of Fundraising WM First Thursday session (they are really good whilst I’m mentioning them, I 100% recommend them for info and tips and ideas and….. therapy!  https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/o/institute-of-fundraising-west-midlands-3378142620 ). We ended up finding 5 strong candidates with 1 being chosen by the end of the day.

And the feedback was great! From both the candidates AND the charity.

The candidates all said how well they thought the process was managed, the questions were strong and open-ended enough for them to shine without being too difficult. And the panel was welcoming.

The charity said that the candidates were well prepped, passionate and focussed.

What a brilliant day at GT HQ. And what we aim to do every single time.

 The candidate has accepted too!
